In 2009, ELY provided mountmaking and installation services for the inaugural exhibits at the Musical Instrument Museum. In order to prevent damage or movement during cleaning and to discourage handling by museum visitors, our team creatively mounted and secured the artifacts in the Fender, Martin, and Steinway galleries. In the Martin Gallery, a guitar and scraper are secured discreetly through pre-existing holes in the workbench. In the Steinway gallery, ELY installed sections of a piano from the ceiling. MM_MIM.pdf
